CIMG0208.JPG
Door creation - who says using a table saw as a router is a bad idea?
CIMG0209.JPG
Door set together - looking good o'l friend
CIMG0211.JPG
Dowels weren't happen'n with no jig and a hand drill, so L brackets to the rescue!
CIMG0212.JPG
Doors attached, with a small gap problem (which is *supposed* to be there, btw).
CIMG0213.JPG
Door open, it works!
CIMG0216.JPG
Middle piece attached...boo-ya!
CIMG0214.JPG
Middle piece, door closed...whew, still works.
CIMG0215.JPG
Doors closed, close-up cause we can't have too many pictures.
CIMG0217.JPG
Cap sitting on top, didn't get pictures of the cap's infant beginnings.
CIMG0218.JPG
Close up of cap corner construction, say it with me, L brackets our are friends.
CIMG0219.JPG
Cap with door on...it was a big pain to line up the hinges...when the door is shut!
CIMG0220.JPG
Cap with door open, yup, it works.
CIMG0222.JPG
Close up of the cap with the knob on. We are planning on hiding the knob as best we can by staining it.
CIMG0224.JPG
Stand and cap, time for some serious sanding and the move upstairs for a test drive and staining.
CIMG0225.JPG
Test drive was a success! The tank actually fits on the stand. We don't know if the tank will continue to fit on the stand after being moved indoors however; cross your fingers.
